Interested in a career in IT, education, or multimedia? Join the e-Learning Support Scheme by Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP)! Recruited trainees will receive free pre-employment training and embark on a 12-month paid position as an e-Learning Support Officer at local schools starting from September 2026.

Conducted by The Civil Service Bureau (CSB), the upcoming Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) is tentatively scheduled for 3 October 2026 (Saturday) and is now open for application.

Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)
The CRE consists of three 45-minute papers, namely Use of English (UE), Use of Chinese (UC), and Aptitude Test (AT), all in multiple-choice format, designed to assess language proficiency and reasoning abilities. Level 2 and Level 1 results of the two language papers, as well as the Pass result of the AT paper, are of permanent validity. Candidates who wish to apply for civil service posts at the degree or professional level must first obtain the requisite CRE results.

The Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST)
The Digitalised BLNST is launched to provide year-round digitalised examination service at the Recruitment Centre, General Grades Office. Attaining a pass result in the BLNST (Degree/Professional Grades) is also an entry requirement for all civil service jobs.

Eligibility:

 

(a)    holders of Degree (excluding Associate Degree or Higher Diploma); or

(b)   students who will have attained a degree (excluding Associate Degree or Higher Diploma) in the academic year 2026/27 or 2027/28; or

(c)    holders of a qualification meeting the entry requirement on professional qualifications for civil service degree or professional posts

TRANSPORT OFFICER II

 Job Specification: 

- Administering, monitoring, analysing and reviewing the operations of public transport services, bridges / tunnels and parking meter / car park facilities, Rehabus and driving training services;

- Collecting, updating, assessing and analysing all operational / financial data for the purpose of public transport fares determination studies, transport planning for people with disabilities, and provision of parking meter and car park facilities;

 Assistant Trade Officers II are mainly deployed on:

- Assisting in the implementation of funding programmes and provision of support services relating to Small and Medium Enterprises, innovation and technology and creative industries;

Management Services Officers facilitate and help policy bureaux and departments implement changes, accelerate innovation and technology adoption, and promote cross-sector collaboration for better services. 

Types of consultancies include streamlining of government services and business process re-engineering, departmental management and organisational reviews, design thinking, knowledge management, shared services, public sector innovation, information technology application studies, business facilitation, as well as market and financial analysis. 

 Management Services Officers may be required to assist in managing operations of direct public service channels / platforms to provide one-stop services and support implementation of innovative programmes.  They may be posted to work in different policy bureaux and departments.

 Eligibility:

 - Must be permanent residents of the HKSAR;

The Administrative Service Winter Internship Programme 2026 aims to provide students with hands-on experience of the roles and mission of AOs, thereby facilitating their future career planning.

Disney College Program is a 10 to 12-week summer program where you will gain on-the-job working experience and a uniquely Disney learning experience. Programme Details

The primary objective of the Administrative Service Internship Programme is to give Hong Kong students who wish to pursue a career in the Administrative Service an opportunity to gain hands-on experience of working with serving Administrative Officers (Aos), so as to enrich their understanding of the roles and mission of an AO and facilitate their future career planning.

Hong Kong students studying at any tertiary institution who fulfil the following selection criteria are welcome to apply for the Programme:

The level of remuneration for participants will be $11,500 per month (including contribution to Mandatory Provident Fund).  Participants are normally required to work 44 hours per week. The exact hours of work will depend on the actual operational needs. Overtime work, where necessary, will be compensated by time-off in lieu.

All successful applicants will be offered identical terms of employment (except for the period). No allowance will be given to appointees currently residing outside Hong Kong to cover their travelling expenses to and from Hong Kong or their subsistence during their stay in Hong Kong.

Programme Aim & Details

The Programme aims to help NEC students accumulate work experience and enhance their competitiveness for employment. The internship placements will generally involve providing administrative support in the day-to-day operation of the bureau/department and/or implementation of projects. Duties

Undergo training in pilot duties normally for a period of 3 years. Duties

The OEA is mainly responsible for assisting in the specially organised speaking examinations (for candidates with special needs or those who need to be rescheduled) by interacting with one or more candidates in a group discussion. Only the performance of candidate(s) will be assessed. You are requested to study the ‘Responsibility of OEA’ carefully before the examination and attend a mandatory training session once prior to the commencement of the examination.

The eligibility criteria of the Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme ("the Scheme") are relaxed to allow legally employable Hong Kong residents aged 29 or below with educational attainments at sub-degree level (including Associate Degree and Higher Diploma qualifications) or above to join the Scheme. Details are as follows:

  • Participants will be employed by the Hong Kong enterprises with businesses in both Hong Kong and the Mainland cities of Greater Bay Area (GBA) as direct employees and stationed to work in the Mainland cities of GBA.
  • The related employments contracts are under the protection of Hong Kong Laws (including the Employment Ordinance, the Employees' Compensation Ordinance, the Minimum Wage Ordinance, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance, etc.).
  • There are currently over 100 positions and 300 vacancies available under the Scheme for youth with Associate Degree or Higher Diploma qualifications, with an average monthly salary of HK$18,000.
  • Monthly wages of no less than HK$18,000 are offered for participants holding bachelor's degrees or above, and salaries at a level comparable with the market rate are offered for participants with sub- degree qualifications.

The Labour Department has engaged the HKFTU Greater Bay Area Social Service and Hong Kong United Youth Association to provide support services for participants of the Scheme, including talks / webinars, telephone hotline/ social media chat group, and group activities, etc.

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is inviting full-time undergraduate students to serve as Assessment Administration Assistants for the 2025 Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) Written Assessments. Service
$423 per session

The HKEAA reserves the right to terminate the service agreement and withhold the service fee due to unsatisfactory performance of the OEA.

Punctuality
Punctuality is extremely important. The training session and examination will begin promptly. You will not be allowed to provide the service for the session if you arrive late.

Proof of identity
If you are selected, you must bring your service agreement, HKID card and student ID card to the examination centre.

Application Method
Follow the instructions given on the Exam Personnel Online (EPO) system of the HKEAA and submit your application online between 2 and 28 January 2025.

Result of applications
You can inquire about the status of your application anytime via the EPO system (https://epo.hkeaa.edu.hk) by logging in with your HKID Card Number and your Application Number. Successful applicants will receive a service agreement by email about two weeks before the relevant examination date. Please ensure that the email address you give in the EPO system is correct. (Note: OEAs are appointed to provide services as independent contractors. The service agreement does not give rise to any employment relationship between the OEAs and the HKEAA.)

Summer Internship Subsidy

To encourage students’ participation in summer internships, the College offers a Summer Internship Subsidy (SIS) to students undertaking an unpaid, non-credit bearing internship who meet the requirements set out below, relieving the financial burden they may be facing and as an appreciation of their effort and hard work.

HK$3,000 will be granted to successful applicants. Interns who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the SIS.

Requirements

  1. Interns should be full-time students enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree / Associate Degree / Higher Diploma programmes; and
  2. Interns should have completed an internship under “Summer Internship Programme 2026” or an internship endorsed by their respective Associate Dean or Programme Leader; and
  3. The internship should not be credit-bearing or a part of graduation requirement and should last for at least a month; and 
  4. Interns should NOT have received any salary, allowance or financial support in any form from the employer or hiring company; and
  5. Interns should have proven satisfactory work performance in the internship

Students who are currently participating in or about to commence their internship in this summer are eligible to apply for the SIS after they have completed their internship.

How to Apply
Applicants should complete and submit the following in person to the Student Centre (TW121) by the following deadlines:

  1. Application form (Appendix I - submit by 30 June 2026)  
  2. Self-evaluation and employer evaluation (Appendix II, Appendix III - submit by 18 September 2026);  
  3. Bank account information form and a copy of your bank statement / card / first page of passbook (Appendix IV -  submit by 18 September 2026).
