Venue: UOW College Hong Kong, 18 Che Kung Miu Road, Tai Wai, New Territories, Hong Kong (accessible via MTR Tai Wai Station Exit B)

MODE 2

Lessons to be held mainly in schools offering courses. Subject to facilities and equipment required for the individual courses, lessons can be held in schools offering ApL courses and/or at the venues of the course provider.

Programme structure and outcomes

This Applied Learning course helps students strengthen their English through real creative tasks. Students explore storytelling, branding, scriptwriting, critique writing, and digital communication while learning how English is used in media, branding and other creative industries. Through hands‑on projects, site visits, and collaboration with local and practitioners, students gain practical experience in creating content, presenting ideas, and using digital tools for design and multimedia production. They also build a personal portfolio showcasing their creative and communication skills. This course is ideal for students interested in media, design, or content creation, and supports further studies and career exploration in Hong Kong’s growing creative industries.
