UOWCHK students win HSBC scholarships

Four students of UOW College Hong Kong were among the scholarship recipients of the HSBC Scholarships in 2025.   The students were Kevin Estrada from Faculty of Business; TSANG Hoi To and WONG Wing Hang from the Faculty of Social Sciences, and FU Kin Yan from the Faculty of Science and Technology.   Each of them received a HK$20,000 scholarship from the HSBC Scholarship Scheme under an Endowment Fund established 60 years ago.  Kevin Estrada and Fu Kin Yan were among 140 scholarship recipients attending the scholarship presentation ceremony on 16 July 2025, together with UOWCHK’s Director of Student Services, Ms Ivy WONG.  The ceremony was officiated by Dr Peter Wong, Chairman of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and the Hongkong Bank Foundation.  Also attending the ceremony were representatives from 17 local universities/institutions, past scholarship alumni, and members of the Advisory Committee of the Hongkong Bank foundation.  Dr Rosanna Wong, a scholarship alumna from the 1970’s and now a Senior Advisor for the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, addressed the ceremony.
