UOWCHK students awarded HSBC Vocational Education Scholarship

Four outstanding students from UOW College Hong Kong (UOWCHK) have been awarded the HSBC Vocational Education Scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence, strong vocational aspirations, and dedication to serving underprivileged communities across Hong Kong.

Supported by the Hongkong Bank Foundation, the scholarships are presented annually.  The UOWCHK students were each awarded a scholarship of HK$20,000.  Three of the awardees, Miss Ho Hoi Yin, Mr Liu Lu Ming Hamilton, and Miss Seherish Navaid, attended HSBC Scholars Day 2026 on 15 July 2026 at the HSBC Main Building in Central, Hong Kong.  Officiated by Dr. Peter Wong, Chairman of HSBC and The Hongkong Bank Foundation, and Ms Maggie Ng, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Hong Kong, the event featured an inspiring fireside chat with scholarship recipients, and attendees were able to enjoy the opportunities for networking and photo-taking with representatives of The Hongkong Bank Foundation.
