A recent graduate from UOW College Hong Kong (UOWCHK) was honoured by the Hong Kong Chinese Culture Development Association (HKCCDA) as one of its Student Cultural Ambassadors for the 2024-25 academic year for her contributions to Chinese culture.
Miss Lin Ziyan 林梓燕, a graduate of the Associate of Arts in Applied Chinese Studies programme at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UOWCHK, was among 34 students and graduates from local tertiary institutions in Hong Kong conferred the honorary title. Following her graduation from UOWCHK, Miss Lin has pursued further studies at the Education University of Hong Kong in its Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Digital Chinese Culture and Communication programme. The award ceremony on 30 August 2025 at the Yew Chung International School in Kowloon Tong was opened by Mr. Kevin Yeung Yun-hung 楊潤雄, GBS, JP, former Secretary for Education.
The Hong Kong Chinese Culture Development Association (HKCCDA) is a non-profit organization established in 2007 in Hong Kong. Its missions include gathering individuals passionate towards developing and promoting Chinese culture; provide talents, information, and cooperative platforms for the development of Chinese culture; organize and participate in a range of events and cultural activities that aim to promote Chinese culture through uniting elites across different industries and schools.
