Staff and students of UOW College Hong Kong (UOWCHK) took part in facilitating the Fifth Hong Kong Time Bank Online Platform Seminar on 30 August 2025. The seminar, held on the College campus at Tai Wai, was organized by Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Ltd, the Christian Family Service Centre, St. James’ Settlement, etc. to explore issues concerning the bartering platform for services for senior citizens of Hong Kong. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, representatives of organizers, guest speakers and more than 200 senior citizens participated in this event. UOWCHK students have visited senior citizens and offered write-up services to record their personal histories for years.
