The Day Camp and Reunion Day for the 2024 academic year were held on August 27 and 28. The event helped new students adapt to college life, build relationships with staff and senior students, learn study skills, and introduce our support services.
The two-day event engaged 50 students from all four faculties of the College, including those from diploma, associate degree, and degree programmes. During the Day Camp at the Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, students keenly participated in team-building games, communication skill activities, and enjoyed a fun water balloon catapult game to cool off in the sunny weather.
On Reunion Day back at Tai Wai campus, outstanding alumni returned to share their study skills, which sparked great interest among the new students and led to many insightful questions. The College’s Student Counsellor engaged in meaningful conversations with the students about mental wellness and the support services we offer. Students also enjoyed fitness room training.
This event’s success was a culmination of support from the College through the Local Co-Curricular Activity Fund, Deans and Faculty Orientation Coordinators, student mentors, and our dedicated staff from Student Services.
