A group of students from the Associate of Arts in Bilingual Communication Studies (Korean & Chinese) programme experienced Korean culture first-hand at the Korean Festival. Held on 1 November 2025 at the Hong Kong International School, the event was organized by the Hong Kong Korean Association together with the Korean Residents Association.
Accompanied by their teacher Ms. Kwon Jung Suk, the students were able to take part in a vibrant array of activities, including Korean food markets, other hands-on experiences, a fashion show, face painting, and more. They had the opportunity to taste a variety of Korean dishes and immerse themselves in Korean culture through such fun activities as wearing Hanbok and observing Taekwondo demonstrations.
This visit was a valuable chance for students to interact with Korean residents in Hong Kong, deepening their understanding of Korean culture and community life. The Hong Kong Korean Association generously offered a HK$50 coupon to each student to enhance their enjoyment of the event.
