More than 60 students from ten secondary schools in Hong Kong took part in an interactive and meaningful learning experience in the Basic Financial Planning Workshop hosted by the Faculty of Business of UOW College Hong Kong.
The workshop introduced students to essential concepts in financial planning, helping them develop a better understanding of personal finance, budgeting, savings, and responsible financial decision-making. Through the sharing of practical examples, students were encouraged to apply financial knowledge to real-life situations.
The event also supported students in preparing for the Financial Planning Challenge Video Competition organized by The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong. By participating in the workshop, students gained useful knowledge and inspiration for developing creative video ideas related to financial planning.
Participants responded positively to the workshop and actively engaged in the learning activities. The event provided a valuable platform for secondary school students to broaden their financial knowledge, enhance their awareness of money management, and connect with the Faculty’s academic team.
