Students in UOW College Hong Kong’s (UOWCHK) aviation-related programmes will enjoy greater access to aviation training facilities under new arrangements with the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (HKACC).
At the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Advanced Aviation Education Programme (AAEP) organized by HKACC, the College and HKACC signed a five‑year Memorandum of Understanding that establishes collaboration between the two sides in aviation training, covering facility sponsorship for HKACC's AAEP and Helicopter programmes, credit transfer arrangements for AAEP graduates towards UOWCHK aviation courses, and staffing support through HKACC's network.
The occasion marked the graduation of 72 AAEP attendees, among whom were two UOWCHK students, Mohammad Azaan, who earned a Certificate of Achievement, and Dua Khan, who received a Certificate of Attendance.
The event held at UOWCHK’s Tai Wai campus on 22 June 2026 was attended by representatives from the Government Flying Service, Cathay Pacific, HKIAA, and senior HKACC officials. “This partnership reinforces both institutions' shared commitment to developing the next generation of aviation professionals in Hong Kong and the region,” said Dr Charlie Choi UOWCHK Vice-President.
