BMSOM Students Attend 41st Anniversary Cocktail Gathering of the Institute of Seatransport

17 September 2025 — Seven BMSOM students attended the cocktail gathering celebrating the 41st Anniversary of the Institute of Seatransport (IOS) at the Mariner’s Club, Middle Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The students were accompanied by Dr Peter Wong and Dr Sik Kwan Tai, who introduced them to maritime professionals and industry representatives during the event. The gathering provided students with a valuable opportunity to expand their professional network and gain exposure to the maritime community.

Through conversations with industry practitioners, students were able to learn more about the development of the maritime sector, professional expectations, and potential career opportunities. The event also strengthened the connection between the BMSOM programme and the wider maritime industry.
