BMSOM Hosts Talk on South China Sea Disputes

24 October 2025 — The BMSOM programme invited Professor Kun-Chen Fu (傅崐成教授), a legal expert on the South China Sea, to deliver a talk on South China Sea disputes.

Five BMSOM students attended the talk and gained valuable insights into the legal, political, and maritime issues surrounding the South China Sea. Professor Fu shared his professional knowledge on the background of the disputes, the interests of different stakeholders, and the implications for regional maritime affairs.

The session provided students with an opportunity to better understand how international law, maritime governance, and geopolitical developments are connected to the shipping and maritime industries.
