BMSOM Hosts Legal Talk on Maritime Arbitration

3 October 2025 — The BMSOM programme invited Dr David Fong, Barrister-at-Law, to deliver a legal talk on Maritime Arbitration.

The talk was attended by seven BMSOM students, who gained valuable insights into the role of arbitration in resolving maritime disputes. Dr Fong introduced key concepts and practical considerations related to maritime arbitration, helping students better understand its importance in the shipping and maritime industries.

Through the session, students were able to connect legal knowledge with real-world maritime practices. The talk also enhanced their understanding of dispute resolution mechanisms commonly used in international trade, shipping, and logistics operations.
