UOW College Hong Kong (UOWCHK) played hosts to the 12th Cross-Strait Shipping and Logistics Conference on 13 November 2025. With this year’s theme of Steering the Maritime Future: Global Risks, Green Mandates and Intelligent Innovation, it was the second time that the conference was held at the College’s Tai Wai campus. Welcoming the participants of the Conference, Ms Currie Tsang, UOWCHK President, called on the industry to take an active part in the development of the curriculum of the College and offer more internship opportunities for our students. Three students from the Bachelor of Maritime Services and Operations Management, Miss Cora Lam (year 4), and Messrs Wai Kit Lau and Timothy Lee (year 2) helped in the proceedings, with Cora acting as the Master of Ceremony. Organizers of the conference included the Institute of Seatransport, Hong Kong (香港海運學會), the Shenzhen Shipping Association (深圳海運協會), and the China Maritime Institute (中華航運學會).
