If you would like to test your proficiency level in the French language, it is definitely an opportunity for you! Please feel free to let your friends and colleagues know about this opportunity.
The TCF is administered by the Centre International d'Etudes Pédagogiques (CIEP) for the French Ministry of Education. French Higher Education authority, university authorities, university language centres in France and abroad, different educational institutions responsible for French language teaching and learning may also recognise the TCF. You may find out more information of the TCF on the CIEP official website.
The grading scale used to evaluate the language proficiency of candidate is translated into 11 languages so as to help educational institutions and employers understand the TCF and offer a benchmark of the abilities of the certificate holders.
The compulsory part of TCF is divided into three multiple-choice tests:
A certificate regarding the result of TCF will be offered to candidates. The TCF result ranges from level A1 to level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
