We are currently recruiting a part-time lecturer to support teaching in Diploma of Applied Education (DAE) in Clerical Work in Practice in Government for a duration of 6 months starting 1 January 2027.
Duties
The appointee will be required to deliver a full-time, face-to-face Diploma of Applied Education course. He/she will be mainly responsible for the followings:
- Conducting tutorials related to the recruitment of Clerical Grade in the Government,
- Developing course materials;
- Marking assignments and assessment scripts; and
- Performing other related teaching and administrative duties.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- a degree in any disciplines;
- well versed in the Clerical Grade in the Government;

The appointee is expected to deliver various ERB courses at Levels 3 and 4, primarily focused on skill uplifting. This includes preparing course materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning experience.
Requirements
All applicants must hold a Degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience, along with relevant working experience in one of the following fields:
- Project Management: Candidates should have a robust background in managing projects, with a preference for those holding certifications in Agile methodologies or CAPM. A minimum of five years of experience in leading teams, executing projects on time and within budget, and a proven track record of achieving project objectives is essential.
- Online Business and Marketing: Applicants should demonstrate a strong foundation in digital marketing strategies, with at least three years of experience in online business development and collaboration with key opinion leaders in marketing. UOW College Hong Kong (“UOWCHK”) is an approved post-secondary college registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap 320). Being part of the University of Wollongong (UOW) in Australia, our students’ learning experiences are enriched through visits by UOW academics or exchange programmes with UOW and its network universities in Malaysia, Dubai and India.

Duties
The appointee is expected to provide clerical support to the Faculty Office, perform tasks independently, handle general enquiries and perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants must have Level 2 or above in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or 5 passes in HKCEE including Chinese Language, Mathematics and English Language (at least Grade C if syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong initiative, self-motivated, detail-minded, and high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Excellent command in MS Excel and strong attention to details with good organizational skills are expected. Good understanding of computer applications including MS Word, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing is desirable.
