Quality Assurance Committee
The Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) is set up under the Academic Board to promote a quality culture in UOWCHK, foster a culture of quality assurance in UOWCHK and to formulate and recommend to the Academic Board the appropriate quality assurance policies and procedures. The QAC also coordinates the preparation for academic quality audits that are undertaken by the appropriate bodies in Hong Kong and will undertake quality assurance audits for institutions interested in sending their students to UOWCHK.
The Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) is tasked with promoting a quality culture within the College, and the coordination of external and internal quality audits. Its terms of reference are:
- To promote and encourage the internalization of a quality culture in the College;
- To formulate and recommend to the Academic Board appropriate quality assurance policies and procedures;
- To coordinate the preparation for academic quality audits undertaken by the appropriate bodies in Hong Kong;
- To undertake quality assurance reviews for institutions interested in sending their students or graduates to the College;
- To provide appropriate training and workshops to staff to facilitate due implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures;
- To appoint subcommittees, working parties and similar bodies for the purpose of discharging the duties of the Committee, and to approve the terms of reference and membership.

Term of Office
The term of office for appointed members shall be two years except for the student members whose term of office shall be one year.
