Direct Application for SSSDP Places (for Local Non-JUPAS Applicants ONLY)

The intake places of Bachelor of Aviation (Honours) in Operations and Management (JSSW01) under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Progessions/Sectors (SSSDP) are mainly allocated through Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS). The SSSDP participating institution will also admit Non-JUPAS Local Applicants *(Note 1) via direct admission of no more than 20% of the subsidized places of the programme. 

Applications for

Bachelor of Aviation (Honours) in Operations and Management (JSSW01) [Year 1 entry] (3 quotas)

in AY 2024/25 is now open for Non-JUPAS Local Applicants.

Interested applicants please submit the online application and upload supporting documents via our online admission system by 4 September 2024, 5:00 pm. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until the Non-JUPAS subsidised places have been filled.

* Note 1: Eligibility of Applicant

a) Only Local students who do not require a student visa/entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department to study in Hong Kong are eligible to be subsidised under SSSDP;

 Persons holding the following documents issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department are classified as "non-local students":

• student visa / entry permit; or
• visa / entry permit under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates; or
• dependant visa / entry permit (for students who were 18 years old or above when they were issued with such visa / entry permit by the Director of Immigration)

b) Also, applicants should

• have NOT joined the 2024 JUPAS Scheme; and
• have met the entry requirements of the SSSDP programme they apply to.
