Technician in the College Office [Ref 2024/NACAD004]

Duties
The technician is required to provide technical support and assistance to staff and students for various information technology issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems. He/she also needs to assist in the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for classrooms, seminars, and events, ensuring the smooth operation of multimedia systems and presentations.

Requirements
Applicants must have a good honors degree in computer science. Applicants shall have knowledge and familiarity with a) Visual Basic, C++, Java language; or Python or b) SQL, PHP/MYSQL, and c) Linux/UNIX system and Windows 11, class scheduling software, media production and networking products.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will normally be made on fixed-term contract for one year. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.

Clerical Officer in Faculty of Science and Technology

Duties
The appointee is expected to provide clerical support to the Faculty Office, perform tasks independently, handle general enquiries and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Applicants must have Level 2 or above in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or 5 passes in HKCEE including Chinese Language, Mathematics and English Language (at least Grade C if syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007).

Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong initiative, self-motivated, detail-minded, and high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Excellent command in MS Excel and strong attention to details with good organizational skills are expected. Good understanding of computer applications including MS Word, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing is desirable.

Executive Assistant/Clerical Officer

Duties
The appointees are expected to provide clerical support to the Employees Retraining Board (“ERB”) courses, perform tasks independently, handle general enquiries and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Applicants must have Level 2 or above in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or 5 passes in HKCEE including Chinese Language, Mathematics and English Language (at least Grade C if syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.

Executive Officer in College Office

[Ref. 2024/NACAD003]

Duties
The Executive Officer provides high-level administrative support to the President of the College, including managing the President’s schedule for appointments and meetings, preparing and editing correspondences and emails, compiling data to prepare reports and presentations, taking minutes and performing any additional duties as requested by the President. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements
Applicants must have a good honours degree and 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in computer applications, good interpersonal and organization skills, strong initiative are required. The appointee should be well-organized, flexible, adaptable and able to work independently.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
